Join Babs Behan, author of "Botanical Inks Plant-To-Print Dyes, Techniques and Projects", and Cattywampus in Ojai for a fun BYO bundle dyeing class followed by drinks and book signings.

The workshop will cover the process of bundle dyeing, using fresh flowers and plant materials with mineral mordants.
Bring Your Own small 100% silk clothing/textiles to up-cycle using this special technique and give them a new botanically infused and colourful look.

We will go through preparation of cloth/garments and the mordanting processes, practice bundle dyeing and its simple steaming process using a few different folding techniques
to create different pattern effects, and finishing processes.

The workshop duration is 1-3pm, with an hour at the end for drinks, mingling and book signing, finishing at 4pm.
